Fear conditioning did not cause long-term plasticity in ACC-ACC synapses. (a) Evoked fast responses in the ACC by stimulation applied to the other side of ACC were not affected by single foot shock that induced classic fear memory. However, TBS induced synaptic potentiation in the ACC.
