Prevention of paclitaxel-induced mechanical allodynia by pharmacological blockade of NK1 or NMDA receptor. Paclitaxel (4 mg/kg) was injected on 4 alternate days (day 0, 2, 4, and 6). CP-99994 (10 nmol), MK-801 (10 nmol) or aCSF was intrathecally injected at 30 min prior to the initial injection of paclitaxel. Mechanical paw withdrawal latencies (PWT, in g) were measured at 14 day after the initial paclitaxel injection, by using mechanical paw withdrawal test.
