From: Spinal NKCC1 blockade inhibits TRPV1-dependent referred allodynia
Spinal TRPV1 antagonism inhibits intracolonic capsaicin-evoked referred allodynia. The TRPV1 antagonist AMG 9810 (AMG, 1nmol) was injected intrathecally (IT) 5 min prior to intracolonic (IC) capsaicin. Response frequencies to abdominal von Frey hair (1 mN) stimulation at the indicated time points post intracolonic capsaicin are shown.
