From: Prostaglandin metabolite induces inhibition of TRPA1 and channel-dependent nociception
Multi-dose therapy using 15d-PGJ 2 without tolerance or toxicity. Repeated ipl. injection (1 per day) of 15 mM 15d-PGJ2 attenuates CFA- induced mechanical hypersensitivity. Note a significant rebound of mechanical thresholds toward baseline level on days 1–4 (*p < 0.05, n = 6 per group, values expressed as mean ± SEM). At Day 6 AITC responses are intact (inset). Data were analyzed using paired, two-tailed Student’s t-tests.
