Minocycline reduced up-regulation of ATF3 in DRG induced by paclitaxel. No ATF3-positive cells in L4 DRG were observed in the vehicle-treated rats (A). Following application of paclitaxel, there is a progressive and significant increase in the number of ATF3 positive cells in DRG (B-E), while in minocycline/paclitaxel-treated rats, ATF3 positive cells were significantly decreased (F, G).
