The effect of thalassiolin B on the ASIC currents. A) Inhibitory action of 0.03 mM thalassiolin B on the ASIC current in a cell with a τ = 283.3 ms was 23% and fully reversible. B) No significant action of 0.03 mM thalassiolin B was observed in slowly desensitizing ASIC currents. Current shown has a τ = 984 ms. C) Concentration-response relationship of thalassiolin B inhibitory action on the ASIC currents in DRG neurons. The continuous line shows a dose-response curve adjustment to the data with an IC50 of 27 ± 2.6 μM.
