Effect of the σ 1 -receptor antagonist BD1047 on (+)-pentazocine [(+)PTZ, 10 nmol, i.t.]-induced lowering of the mechanical threshold in non-diabetic and diabetic mice. BD1047 was injected i.t. 10 min prior to the administration of (+)PTZ. Each column represents the mean with S.E.M. for 10 mice. *P < 0.05 vs. respective before-treatment group; #P < 0.05 vs. vehicle-pretreated group (Bonferroni test).
