The effect of koumine on 3α-hydroxysteroid oxidoreductase catalytic activity in the spinal cord of sciatic nerve chronic constriction injury rats. The 3α-hydroxysteroid oxidoreductase (3α-HSOR) catalytic activity in the spinal cord (SC) lumbar region L5–L6 was assessed spectrophotometrically by measuring the oxidation rate of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH) at 340 nm and 37°C. The data are presented as the mean ± SEM (n = 6 per group) and were analyzed by one-way ANOVA followed by Bonferroni post hoc test at each time point. *P < 0.05 vs. the CCI group, # P < 0.05 vs. the sham group.
